Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 3’: Resul Pookutty’s deleted post hints at third part

Evenas Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule is gearing up for its release on December 05, 2024, Pushpa 3, the third part of the franchise, seems to be in the development. The buzz around the third part was spurred by a post on X (formerly Twitter) by Oscar-winning sound designer Resul Pookutty.

Pookutty put up a picture to announce the completion of the sound mixing of the movie. In the photograph, a giant screen in the background revealed the title of the third part, Pushpa 3: The Rampage. Pookutty later deleted the post.

The makers of the franchise had previously hinted at a third part. “We are ready to do Pushpa 3 if Pushpa 2 meets the same level of love from the audience as we witnessed for the first part,” producer Y Ravi Shankar had said.

Pushpa 2, also starring Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna, is set to hit the screens worldwide on December 05, 2024. The movie is directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings. The film is a sequel to the hit 2021 Pushpa: The Rise.
