Actor Sivakarthikeyan has stepped forward to aid Tamil Nadu’s recovery efforts in the aftermath of Cyclone Fengal’s devastation. The actor has contributed ₹10 lakhs to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Releif Fund. Sivakarthikeyan handed over the cheque to Udhayanidhi Stalin, Tamil Nadu’s Deputy Chief Minister, to support the relief and rehabilitation initiatives.


Cyclone Fengal wreaked havoc across the state, claiming lives, destroying livelihoods, and leaving a trail of widespread damage. Official reports reveal that over 1.5 crore people were affected across 14 districts, with 2.11 lakh hectares of agricultural land submerged due to flooding. The government has been working tirelessly on recovery measures, and Sivakarthikeyan’s generous donation is seen as a heartfelt gesture of solidarity.


Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to share the news, expressing gratitude and recognizing Sivakarthikeyan as the first member of the film industry to contribute to the cyclone relief efforts.



The actor’s proactive support has garnered widespread appreciation from fans and the public, underscoring the importance of collective efforts during times of crisis. Sivakarthikeyan’s humanitarian act highlights how public figures can inspire hope and unity in the face of adversity.
