The Indian junior women’s team will aim to defend its title in the Women’s Junior Asia Cup in Muscat, Oman. The tournament, scheduled from December 7 to 15, 2024, also serves as a qualifying event for the FIH Junior World Cup 2025, which will be held in Chile.
Tushar Khandker will be the coach of the team with Jyoti Singh as the captain and Sakshi Rana as the vice captain. The team also comprises players like Deepika, Vaishnavi Vitthal Phalke, Sunelita Toppo and Mumtaz Khan who have played for the senior team since last year’s title win.
