‘The Gorge’ trailer: Anya Taylor-Joy and Miles Teller stand guard over evil

Apple Films has unveiled the first trailer for The Gorge, a thriller starring Miles Teller and Anya Taylor-Joy as operatives tasked with protecting the world from an ominous threat lurking in a vast, mysterious canyon. Directed by Scott Derrickson, the film is set to debut on Apple TV+ on February 14, 2025.

In the trailer, Teller and Taylor-Joy’s characters are stationed in opposing guard towers overlooking a seemingly bottomless gorge, a classified site concealing an undisclosed evil. Though initially forbidden from communicating, the duo begins exchanging notes via high-powered binoculars, forging a connection as they uncover the secrets of the gorge.

“When the cataclysmic threat to humanity is revealed, they must work together in a test of both their physical and mental strength to prevent disaster,” teases the movie’s logline.

The trailer, released during CCXP/Brazil Comic-Con, showcases the film’s stark, wintry landscape and ominous atmosphere. “What’s the truth about this place? What’s the truth about The Gorge?” Teller’s voice echoes in the clip.

The film also features Sigourney Weaver in a prominent role and boasts an impressive production team, including producers David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger from Skydance Media, alongside Derrickson’s Crooked Highway. Teller serves as an executive producer.
