Once Upon a Time in Madras: Screen Review.

Raja, an auto driver, is on the run to raise funds for his wife’s medical expenses. Savitri, a cleaning lady, is struggling to get her transgender kid to see a doctor. Vijay, a philanderer who feels caste is vital, and Madhi, who finds a significant betrayal in her family life. A rifle unites them all. What follows is the rest of the narrative.

Director Prasad Murugan aimed to relate four people’s lives and the challenges they confront with a gun.

When each character is presented at the start, there is a sense that we are about to embark on an intriguing storyline. However, as the scenes go, the unstressed screenplay falls behind the film. Similarly, many moments require patience. Especially the college porson Ayaatshi, who appears in the second half. In terms of acting, Bharath, Thalaivasal Vijay, and Abhirami all did an excellent job. In many ways, Nerudal’s cinematography resembles a serial. The tunes aren’t really impressive either.

The twist in the story of four characters, Anjali Nair and Thalaivasal Vijay’s Porson, is fantastic. The manner the pistol is demonstrated to reach each person is unique. Some scenes are less fascinating.

Overall, the filmmaker failed to keep an excellent storyline engaging.
