FIFA football rankings 2024 updated: India climbs one spot, moves to 126th
India climbed one spot to 126th in the latest men’s rankings published by global football governing body FIFA on Thursday.
The Blue Tigers finished 2024 without a single win and will look to improve by the time the next set of rankings are released, following some of their AFC Asian Cup qualifying matches.
Defending world champion Argentina remains top, ahead of France, with European champion Spain completing the top three.
The rest of the top 10 remains unchanged.
FIFA noted that Angola, which played the most matches in 2024, has made the biggest progression over the past 12 months, climbing 32 spots to reach 85th.
