Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024/25: Karnataka chases down 383 against Mumbai, records fifth-highest run chase in List A cricket
Karnataka on Saturday recorded the fifth-highest successful run chase in List A cricket during its Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024/25 (VHT) match against Mumbai in Ahmedabad.
Karnataka shot down a massive target of of 383 runs in 46.2 overs in the opening round fixture at the Narendra Modi Stadium Ground B. Krishnan Shrijith was the top-scorer for the side, notching up an unbeaten 150 off just 101 deliveries.
This was the second-highest successful run chase in the VHT. Andhra, which had got to 384 runs against Goa during the 2011/12 season, holds the record.
The highest succesful chase in a List A game belongs to South Africa, when it got to 435 runs against Australia in Johannesburg in 2005.
