Manchester United vs Bournemouth LIVE: MUN v BOU, No Rashford in United squad, Premier League updates

Manchester United will look to return to winning ways after a loss to Tottenham Hotspur in the League Cup, when it hosts Bournemouth in the Premier League on Sunday.

United’s manager Ruben Amorim, who took over from Erik ten Hag in November, said that 13th-placed United still had a long way to go before it could challenge for the Premier League title.

“We’re improving as a team… our goal is to win the Premier League. How long it’s going to take? I don’t know but that is our goal,” he added.

Meanwhile, Bournemouth’s manager Andoni Iraola paid tribute to Amorim’s impact at United ahead of the match at Old Trafford.

“I think they are different,” said Iraola, whose side won the equivalent game 3-0 last season. I think they play in a different way, different system, different approach to the games,” he also told a pre-match press conference on Friday.
