Television has a closer connection with the audiences than movie theatres because it is a part of their routine. And the shows, serials and any reality programs which are telecasted on the TV also plays a huge part for their entertainment. Zee Tamil the 16 year old leading television channel in Tamil television industry has variety of reality shows, mega serials and broadcasts the premier tamil movies which makes them a significant competitor among the other television channels.

Zee Tamil’s launching ideas and promo for their new serials has a different set of fans which grab their attention to follow them regularly. Now, they have come up with a latest serial which is titled as “Mounam Pesiyadhe”. The appalling stars are roped in the newly launched Tamil serial “Mounam Pesiyadhe” which convinces the viewers’ expectations to look for it.

Jovitaa Livingston has her own fan base from the iconic serial “Aruvi” which was broadcasted in Sun Tv and she pairs alongside with actor Ashok who landed into the entertainment industry through his debut movie in Tamil “Muruga” released in 2007. The other lead roles were played by the Zee Tamil fame Iraa Agarwal who sealed her identity in television through the successful mega serials “Raja Magal & Kadaikutty Singham” and actor, model, dancer Sathya Raaja who began his career as a dancer in the Vijay Television, later turned as a full time actor.

The promo which was released three weeks ago showcases the two weddings happening at a temple. One marriage where the groom Shiva, happily marries his love with excitement whereas in the other wedding the bride Thulasi is forced to get married to the groom. Both the couples are travelling in the same bus. A sudden tragic event takes place which completely transitions the life of both the bride and groom. It ends with the eyebrow rising frame where Shiva and Thulasi’s comeout together to commence their new wedding life.

This plot line looks something different from the other serials in the Tamil television and also it gives a hint that it could be an inspiration from the story of Tagore’s “The Wreck”. In this story, the protagonist Ramesh will meet a storm during the journey in a boat along with his bride whose face he didn’t see even after the wedding. After the event, he mistakenly takes the other bride who has been travelling in the same boat. It also explores the complexity of the human emotions and relationships.
