Vidaamuyarchi: Ajith completes dubbing for his Pongal 2025 release
Vidaamuyarchi starring actor Ajith Kumar in the lead, is an upcoming road crime thriller scheduled for a Pongal 2025 release. Lyca Productions, the banner behind the movie has now updated that Ajith has completed dubbing for the film. A still of Ajith with GKM Tamil Kumaran, head of Lyca Productions, and Vidaamuyarchi director Magizh Thirumeni, was also shared to announce the same.
Vidaamuyarchi is currently gearing up for a first single release titled Sawadeeka on December 27, 2024 at 1 PM. The song is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, and follows the release of the Vidaamuyarchi theme track, which can be streamed on Sony Music South’s YouTube channel and other audio platforms.
An adaptation of American filmmaker Jonathan Mostow’s Hollywood crime thriller Breakdown (1997), Vidaamuyarchi follows Ajith’s quest into a deserted area in search of his missing wife. Ajith’s character goes onto uncover a dangerous web controlled by a group of criminals, and his situation quickly turns into a high stakes battle for survival.
