Hockey India League 2023-24 Points Table: UP Rudras leads; Vedanta Kalinga Lancers at bottom
Hockey India League (HIL) 2023-25 is back after a seven year hiatus with a tournament featuring eight teams in the men’s competition which begun on December 28, 2024.
The UP Rudras lead the points table after the first round of play at the HIL. They beat Kalinga Lancers by two goals to assert their dominance in the league.
HIL 2024 is following FIH Pro League’s format where the winner gets three points and in case of a tie both teams gets one point, they will play a shoot-out for one bonus point for the winner.
Eight teams for the tournament are placed in a league to play round-robin matches. The top four teams qualify for the knockout stage.
