Vrooming at Vagator: Fourth edition of TVS Motosoul roars to life
The coastal town of Vagator, Goa, known for its striking red cliffs and beach sunsets, was transformed into a motorcycling haven on December 6-7, as the fourth edition of TVS MotoSoul roared to life under the blazing sun.
The annual carnival celebrated another year of TVS’ journey in the two-wheeler industry. Featuring a medley of races, obstacle courses, stunt performances, and a display of the latest engineering breakthroughs, the two-day extravaganza brought together riders and enthusiasts from biking communities around the world.
The distant roar of engines revving beyond the walkthrough exhibits created a constant backdrop for the event, as motorbikes raced across the red-soil mud tracks. The event united the minds behind the machinery and the riders who drove it to victory, stirring up dust clouds as they competed for top honours in their respective classes.
Among those sharing their journeys were Jagan Kumar, an 11-time Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship (INMRC) champion, and Aishwarya Pissay, India’s first motorsport world champion with her 2019 Bajas World Cup victory.
Products of TVS Racing (India’s first factory racing team, established in 2016), both were joined by many young and successful riders who have made their way to the top of the podium. “With TVS Racing coming out with many grassroots-level projects for more enthusiasts and youngsters, it has created more opportunities,” said Aishwarya.
“Through initiatives like the Apache Racing Experience (AREGP) programme, the Apache Pro Performance (APP) series, and the recently launched TVS Ronin Drift R School in Pune, we are giving young, talented riders the opportunity to hone their skills and compete at the highest levels,” said Vimal Sumbly, Head Business — Premium, TVS Motor Company.
Among the innovations on display, without which countless achievements wouldn’t have materialised, TVS unveiled its new RT-XD4 engine platform, inspired by decades of racing heritage. It also launched the new 2025 TVS Ronin, designed in collaboration with Smoked Garage (Indonesia) and the TVS Motor Factory Team (India).
Syed Asif Ali and Shamin Khan — who entered the Asia Book of Records after completing a record-breaking 6,300-kilometre ride on the Golden Quadrilateral atop the TVS NTORQ — were felicitated.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, everyone gathered for Goa’s electric nightlife, where a host of popular singers and DJs made the revellers dance to their beats, capping two very eventful days.
