Saurashtra’s Sheldon Jackson announced his retirement from white-ball cricket, on Tuesday.
Jackson ended his List A career with 2792 runs from 84 innings at an average of 36.25. The wicket-keeper batter recorded nine hundreds and 14 fifties in the 50-over format.
The 38-year-old also tallied 1812 runs from 80 T20s, which includes nine games for Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL.
Jackson’s last white-ball game was a Vijay Hazare Trophy match for Saurashtra against Punjab, where he scored a 10-ball 13.
In 2022, Jackson scored an unbeaten 133 off 136 balls to power Saurashtra to a win in the Vijay Hazare Trophy final against Maharashtra.
