Vishal’s Long-Delayed Film Madha Gaja Raja Set for Pongal Release
After more than a decade of delays, Tamil comedy Madha Gaja Raja is finally set to hit theaters. Sundar C directed the film, which stars Vishal in the lead role, and it will be released on January 12 as part of the festive Pongal schedule. The news was made on Friday using social media.
Madha Gaja Raja was originally scheduled to be completed in 2013, however it was delayed due to financial difficulties. The film’s initial trailer was released on YouTube about 11 years ago, adding to fans’ excitement. Along with Vishal, the film includes a superb cast, Santhanam, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and Anjali in crucial roles.
The film, touted as a commercial entertainer, is Vishal and Sundar C’s third collaboration after their previous hits Aambala and Action. Madha Gaja Raja, produced by Gemini Film Circuit and featuring music by Vijay Antony, promises to be a wonderful addition to the festive season.
