Harmanpreet, Renuka rested; Mandhana named captain for India’s three-match W-ODI series against Ireland

Smriti Mandhana was named captain of India’s ODI squad after Harmanpreet Kaur was given rest for the upcoming three-match series against Ireland starting January 10 at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot.

Apart from Harmanpreet, Renuka Singh Thakur has also been given a rest for the series.

India comes into the series after 3-0 win over West Indies women in December last year. Harmanpreet had suffered a knee injury and missed the last two ODIs.
