Music composer AR Rahman turned 58 on Monday, January 6, 2025 and leading upto his birthday, a third single from the movie Kadhalikka Neramillai was released over the weekend. ‘It’s a Breakup Da‘ picturized on Jayam Ravi and Nithya Menen, as the title suggests is a break up song,with lyrics by Snehan, and vocals by Shruthi Haasan, and Adithya RK.
Kadhalikka Neramillai is a production venture of Red Giant Movies and is written and directed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi. Following the third single’s release on January 4, the makers unveiled a separate clip showcasing the BTS of the song’s recording with Snehan, and Shruthi Haasan at AM Studios.
It’s a Breakup Da is currently being hailed for being a step away from usual Tamil film break up songs that are mostly women-bashing, and from a male’s perspective. Kadhalikka Neramillai releases in theaters on January 14, 2025 for Pongal.
