It has now been officially announced that Suriya starrer Karthik Subbaraj film Retro, will hit theater screens for the Labour day weekend; Retro release date is May 1, 2025 (Thursday). Labour Day is a prominent holiday in Tamil Nadu, probably because it originated in the state’s capital city of Chennai (1923 Madras).
Retro opens to a four day weekend, giving the Suriya starrer a significant advantage at the box-office.
