Actress Trisha’s yearly commitment to Malayalam cinema

The Malayalam film ‘Identity,’ starring Tovino Thomas, Trisha, and Vinay Rai, has been receiving a warm reception in Tamil as well. Directed by Akhil Paul and Anas Khan, who also penned the script, the team recently met with journalists in Chennai to share their experience.

Actress Trisha shared her thoughts, saying, “Malayalam films often carry strong storylines, and I have always been fond of them. I had wished to act in at least one Malayalam film every year, and this opportunity came at the right time. The screenplay of this film is very intelligent and compelling.”

She further added, “Tovino is a major star in Malayalam cinema, and I admire his choice of films. Acting alongside him was a wonderful experience. In Malayalam films, female roles are often written with great depth, and I have been given a significant character in this film. I am happy to see the positive reception the movie is getting here as well.”
