Indian sports wrap, January 9: Odisha girl bags gold in Khelo India zonal weightlifting league
Khelo India Asmita Women National Zonal League-2024-25 started on Thursday at Mahatma Gandhi Indoor Sports Stadium, Brahmapur (Odisha) where the top four athletes of Zone-A, B and C are competing for the final places in the Inter-Zonal Ranking Tournament.
The results of 40 kg Youth Girls section concluded are as under:-
– Jyoshna Sabar of Odisha bagged gold medal with a total of 118 kg.
– K. Ishwariya of Tamil Nadu bagged silver medal with a total of 112 kg.
– Himanshi of Haryana bagged the bronze medal with a total of 103 kg.
