Premier League player, accused of rape more than two years ago, could face charges – Reports
A Premier League player could face rape charges more than two years after they were arrested on the basis of a complaint filed by a woman in 2022, according to a report in The Telegraph.
It is Scotland Yard’s decision to ask prosecutors to draft up potential charges against the player after the Crown Prosecution Service collected evidence over the years since the time the initial complaint was filed.
