Harish Kalyan Reflects on Healthy Competition with Kavin and Peers

Actor Harish Kalyan recently shared his thoughts on professional rivalry in an interview. Addressing a question about competition with fellow actor Kavin, Harish noted that rivalry isn’t confined to just two individuals. He explained, “Traditionally, competition has always existed between two actors, like Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. This continues even today. However, I believe competition doesn’t need to be limited to just two people. For emerging actors, everyone in the same space becomes a competitor.”

Harish further emphasized the importance of personal growth in the film industry. “The real challenge for me is to surpass the achievements of my last film. My previous project brought some recognition, and now my focus is on delivering better performances in upcoming films. That’s the biggest challenge for any actor. There are so many talented actors currently, and everyone is doing great work,” he added.

Harish Kalyan recently starred in the film ‘Lappapar Bandhu,’ directed by Tamarasan Pachamuthu, alongside Dinesh, Swasika, and Bala Saravanan. Released on September 20 last year, the film received widespread acclaim both critically and commercially.
