Director Sundar C Requests Actor Santhanam for New Film Collaboration
Director Sundar C. has expressed his wish for actor Santhanam to return to comedic roles. Sundar C.’s film “Madha Gaja Raja,” which faced numerous delays, has finally been released after 13 years. The comedy sequences of Santhanam in the movie have been widely appreciated.
During a press meet about the movie, Sundar C. said, “We waited 13 years for this day. Watching everyone laugh and enjoy the film feels like the best Pongal gift. The project began with the thought of releasing it for Pongal, and even though it’s late, it’s a perfect addition for this festival. We trust the film will make audiences laugh wholeheartedly for at least 15 minutes.”
He added, “You’ll understand how much I miss Santhanam when you watch ‘Madha Gaja Raja.’ He has become a big hero now, but I request him to act in comedic roles again. We really miss him in comedy. I hope he doesn’t get angry about my request. Miss you, Santhanam.”
The film stars Vishal alongside Santhanam, the late director Manobala, Varalaxmi, Anjali, and Sonu Sood. Produced by Gemini Studios, “Madha Gaja Raja” has received a positive response after a long 13-year wait.
