IND-W vs IRE-W, 2nd ODI: India records highest total in W-ODIs
India put up its highest total in women’s ODIs during the second 50-over game against Ireland at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot on Sunday.
Batting first, India put up 370/5 in its 50 overs. Jemimah Rodrigues was the innings’ top scorer with 102 from 91 deliveries. Rodrigues put on 183 for the fourth wicket with Harleen Deol, who scored 89 from 84 balls.
Earlier in the innings, Smriti Mandhana and Pratika Rawal had put on 156 for the first wicket. Mandhana scored 73 from 54 balls, and Rawal 67 from 61 deliveries. They would fall from consecutive deliveries in the 19th and 20th over.
India’s previous highest total also came against Ireland at Potchefstroom in 2017, where it had up 358/2 in its 50 overs. It also put up 358 last month against the West Indies, for the loss of two wickets.
