Ira Jadhav, who was unsold in WPL auction, smashes triple century in women’s U-19 ODI trophy

Fourteen-year-old Ira Jadhav smashed a triple hundred in an U-19 Women’s ODI trophy (Youth List-A) match between Mumbai and Meghalaya at the Alur Cricket Stadium in Bangalore on Sunday.

The Mumbai batter was part of the Women’s Premier League 2025 auction at a base price of Rs. 10 lakh, but the teen went unsold.

She ended her innings with a knock of 346 runs off 157 balls – a strike rate of more than 200. Ira’s powerful performance with the bat, which helped Mumbai post a daunting total of 563 in 50 overs, included 42 fours and 16 sixes.
