Australian Open 2025: Djokovic earns comeback win over newcomer Basavareddy
Novak Djokovic fought back from a set down to beat USA’s Nishesh Basavareddy 4-6, 6-3, 6-4, 6-2 to qualify for the second round of the Australian Open on Monday.
The 37-year-old delivered 22 aces in response to his opponent’s four to begin the quest for a 25th Grand Slam title on the right note.
