First Single ‘Kalloorum’ from Vikram’s Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 Is Here!
Gifted star Vikram had his last release via the action-adventure flick Thangalaan which hit theaters under the direction of Pa Ranjith with actress Parvathy Thiruvothu as female lead. The movie drew mixed reviews from critics. But went on to taste a moderate commercial success. The Kadaram Kondan actor will next be seen on screens in the upcoming film titled Veera Dheera Sooran Part 2. Storyteller S U Arun Kumar who rose to fame with Chithha, has written and crafted the drama. Actress Dushara Vijayan of Sarpatta Parambarai fame has been cast as the love interest of the actor in the movie. The production house has already announced that the drama will be released in January. They are currently working to freeze a date for release.
Meanwhile, the makers had released the teaser of the movie last month. Now they have launched the first single from the album on social media. Taking to their official X account, the production house dropped a poster from the movie along with a link to the first single ‘Kalloorum’ from Veera Dheera Sooran, and captioned it, “3…2…1…And it is Time to witness Kaali’s romance. Groove to Kalloorum – a blissful and a magical number from Chiyaan’s Veera Dheera Sooran. Song out now. A S U Arun Kumar picture. A G V Prakash Kumar musical. Lyrics by Vivek. Music director G V Prakash Kumar has composed music for the entertainer. Singers Haricharan and Shweta Mohan have lent their voice for the track. Lyrics for the number are penned by writer Vivek. The song is mixed and mastered by Jehovahson Alghar. Earlier actor S J Suryah took to social media to shower praise on film maker S U Arun Kumar’s work ethic. He wrote in detail about the dedication in which the climax action piece of the film was shot. The news got fans of actor Vikram very excited. Subsequently, the brilliantly carved teaser further added to the expectations on the flick. The production house has publicized that the entertainer will be released in two installments with the sequel of the franchise being released prior to the first segment.
Beside Vikram and Dushara Vijayan, the casting unit of the drama also has actors S J Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Siddique, Pavel Navageethan, Ramesh Indhira, and S U Baalaji playing various supporting roles. Cinematographer Theni Eswar ISC has taken care of the cinematography department of the flick. Editor G K Prasanna has been contracted to trim the entertainer. Art director C S Balachander has erected sets for the drama. Action master Phoenix Prabu has fashioned action blocks. Veera Dheera Sooran is funded by Riya Shibu under the production company HR Pictures.
On the work front, actor Vikram is keenly anticipating the release of his long-delayed flick Dhruva Natchathiram Chapter One – Yuddha Kaandam scripted by Gautham Vasudev Menon in which he has associated with actors Ritu Varma, R Parthiban, Simran, and Radhika Sarathkumar.
