Blockbuster hit Jailer (2023) starring Superstar Rajinikanth in the lead is all set for a sequel, Jailer 2. As with Jailer, Jailer 2‘s announcement video was filmed in December. Now it has been officially announced that the Jailer 2 announcement teaser releases on January 14, 2025 (Tuesday) at 6 PM.
Jailer 2 announcement video will premiere in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi languages on Sun TV, Gemini TV, and Sun Marathi YouTube channels. It will also be screened in theaters marking the Pongal occassion. Theater list of Jailer 2 announcement teaser:
A Sun Pictures production, Jailer 2 is written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, and has Anirudh Ravichander for music. The sequel is touted to be titled Hukum, after the chartbuster number from Jailer.
