Arsenal vs Tottenham LIVE: ARS v TOT starting XI, North London derby updates for Premier League clash

Welcome to Sportstar’s live coverage of the North London derby in the Premier League, between Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, being played at the Emirates Stadium in London, United Kingdom.

Arsenal will look to turn the tide after consecutive losses as it faces arch-rival Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Wednesday.

The Gunners were stunned by Newcastle United in the League Cup before losing to Manchester United in the FA Cup and will be under pressure to perform at a time when underdog Nottingham Forest has surpassed them in the league standings.

“It is the nicest game of the season to watch and play because of the atmosphere and what it means to the people, us and everyone that is involved,” Arsenal’s manager Mikel Arteta said.

“The atmosphere is something the fans can help with and something we can do by giving them something to feed off.”

Tottenham, on the other hand, is enjoying an impressive stint, with two back-to-back victories, against Liverpool and Tamworth, coming into the North London derby. But it has failed to beat the Gunners since May 2022, when it had won 3-0 at home. The last time it travelled to the Emirates for a Premier League clash, the match had ended 2-2.

“I have been big on it from the first game and this year is as big as they ever come, especially for us and our season,” Tottenham’s manager Ange Postecoglou said.

“We need to start winning games in the league and there is no better place to start.”
