Pratika Rawal scored her maiden international century during the third ODI against Ireland at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot on Wednesday.
The 24-year-old right-hand batter reached the milestone in 100 balls. Earlier, stand-in Indian skipper Smriti Mandhana smashed the fastest ODI hundred by an Indian woman in the same match. Rawal and Mandhana put on a 233-run opening partnership from just 160 balls.
Rawal, who was playing just her sixth match for India, had crossed fifty in both the previous matches of the series. She scored 89 from 96 deliveries in the first ODI and 67 from 61 balls in the second.
She made her India debut against West Indies in December 2024.
