Retro: OTT Release Date of Suriya’s film on Netflix
Retro starring Suriya in the lead is an upcoming action drama written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj. The movie with Santhosh Narayanan for music releases in theaters on May 1, 2025. Retro‘s digital rights are with Netflix, and the streaming platform officially confirmed the same on Wednesday marking ‘Maatu Pongal’.
Retro will be available to stream on Netflix in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages after its theatrical run. The expected Retro OTT release date is May 29, May 30 or May 31, 2025. An official announcement on Retro‘s Netflix premiere date is however awaited.
Retro is Suriya’s maiden collaboration with writer, director Karthik Subbaraj, and the film is jointly produced by the actor’s 2D Entertainment and the filmmaker’s Stone Bench Films. The movie also stars Pooja Hegde, Nandita Das, Shriya Saran (cameo), Joju George, rakash Raj, Nassar, George Maryan, among others.
