Saif Ali Khan stabbed by mystery attacker: Hospitalized in critical condition
Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, renowned as a leading star, is undergoing surgery at Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital after sustaining injuries during a scuffle. The incident occurred at around 2:30 AM on January 16 at his residence in Bandra West, Mumbai. Reports suggest that it may have been a robbery attempt. During the altercation, Saif suffered injuries, and further details about the situation remain unclear.
According to Mumbai police, an unidentified individual allegedly entered Saif’s home armed with a knife. A confrontation ensued, during which Saif Ali Khan was injured. Following the scuffle, he was rushed to Lilavati Hospital for treatment.
Dr. Neeraj Uttamani, the hospital’s CEO, revealed, “Saif Ali Khan was brought in at 3:30 AM with six injuries, one near his spine. Surgery is being conducted by a team of specialists including neurologist Dr. Nitin Dangay, cosmetic surgeon Dr. Leena Jain, and anesthetist Dr. Nisha Gandhi. Further information on his injuries will be provided post-surgery.”
It remains to be clarified whether Saif sustained the injuries from being stabbed or due to the struggle with the intruder. Meanwhile, Mumbai police and crime investigation officers are actively investigating the matter.
