India Open 2025: Sindhu, George bow out in quarterfinals; Satwik-Chirag in action

PV Sindhu and Kiran George bowed out of the India Open 2025 after losing their respective quarterfinals, thereby ending India’s singles challenge.

Men’s doubles pair Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty are in action against South Korea’s Jin Yong and Kang Min-hyuk. The Indian duo is currently lead 11-3 in the first game of the quarterfinal clash.

Sindhu lost to Indonesia’s Gregoria Tunjung 9-21, 21-19, 17-21 while George was beaten by China’s Weng Hongyang in straight games.
