‘Maaman’ first look revealed: Soori embraces a vibrant action-comedy role
After starring in films like ‘Karudan’ and ‘Viduthalai 2’, actor Soori is now working on his next venture titled ‘Mamanan’. The shooting for this movie is currently underway in Trichy and its surrounding areas. The storyline revolves around the affectionate and emotional interplay between a maternal uncle and his nephew, which is why the film has been titled ‘Mamanan’.
The first look posters of the film have been released by the production team. Following his serious roles in movies such as ‘Kottukkali’, ‘Viduthalai’, and ‘Karudan’, Soori has opted for a lively and action-packed character for this movie, as inferred from the first look posters. One poster emphasizes comedy as the central theme, while the other highlights action elements.
Aishwarya Lekshmi plays the female lead opposite Soori in this film, while Swasika, known for her performance in the movie ‘Lappa Bandhu’, portrays the role of Soori’s elder sister. The film is being produced by Lark Studios, the same production house behind ‘Karudan’. The crew plans to complete the entire shoot in Trichy by February.
After wrapping up ‘Mamanan’, Soori is set to take on another project directed by Mathi Maran, known for the film ‘Selfie’. The film is anticipated to be a vibrant entertainer set to release in the summer of 2025.
