Indian sports wrap, January 19: Jyothi Surekha wins silver in Indoor Archery World Series

India’s ace woman archer V. Jyothi Surekha bagged a silver in the Nimes Tournament of Indoor Archery World Series in France on Sunday.

The Vijayawada-based archer lost to Alejandra Usquiano of Columbia 147-146 in the finals.

During the ranking round, the 28-year-old Surekha, winner of eight gold, four silver and five bronze, scored 592 out of 600 points, and was ranked sixth in the qualifications.
