Muthukumaran Wins Bigg Boss Season 8 Trophy in Thrilling Finale
The reality television show Bigg Boss Season 8, broadcast on Vijay TV for over 100 days, was hosted by actor Vijay Sethupathi. Contestants for this season included Ravindar Chandrasekar, Muthukumar, Jacqueline, Soundarya, Arun Prasad, Darshika, Pavitra Janani, Vijay Vishal, R.J. Anandhi, Sunitha, Ranjith, Darsha Gupta, Sanjana, Akshitha, Arnav, Sathya, and Deepak.
Each week, one contestant was eliminated. In the final week, the remaining contestants were Muthukumar, Jacqueline, Soundarya, Pavitra, and Vishal. During the money box task, Jacqueline failed to return to the house on time and was eliminated. The Grand Finale was then held, where Pavitra and later Vishal were eliminated.
In the ultimate showdown between Soundarya and Muthukumar, Muthukumar secured a decisive victory, claiming the Bigg Boss trophy with the highest vote difference. Soundarya Nanjundan was declared the runner-up. In addition to his win, Muthukumar received ₹40.50 lakh from the prize money after deductions made for other contestants’ winnings during the tasks.
