‘Premalu 2’ Announced: Filming Starts in June, Grand Release Planned

The Malayalam film ‘Premalu,’ starring Naslen, Mamitha Baiju, and Shyam Mohan, was a romantic comedy produced by Fahadh Faasil, Dileesh Pothan, and Shyam Pushkaran. Made on a modest budget, the film was released in February last year and exceeded expectations by grossing over ₹130 crores. It was well-received in Tamil and Telugu markets. Reports soon emerged about a sequel to the movie.

Recently, one of the producers, Dileesh Pothan, confirmed that the scripting for ‘Premalu 2’ is complete. He stated, “Filming will commence in June, and we are planning to release the movie by the end of this year. Compared to the first part, this sequel will be grander in scale.”
