Sandalwood’s ‘DD Next Level’ Impresses Aboard Luxury Cruise

Santhanam and Surabhi starred in the film “DD Returns,” which was released in 2023 and received good reception. Directed by S. Prem Anand, the movie’s success has paved the way for its sequel titled “DD Next Level.” Santhanam will once again play the lead role.

The film features Selvaraghavan, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Yashika Anand, Nizhalgal Ravi, among others in pivotal roles. Cinematography is handled by Deepak Kumar Pathy, while Afro is composing the music. “DD Next Level” is being produced by Niharika Entertainment, partnered with actors Arya and Santhanam. The movie is slated for a May release.

Director Prem Anand shared, “The success of ‘DD Returns’ inspired us to carefully develop the script for its sequel over the past year. Like its predecessor, this movie will also be packed with laughter and entertainment. The story begins on a luxurious cruise and shifts to an island adventure. We’ve created massive sets with a grand budget for this movie. It promises to offer even more excitement than ‘DD Returns.'”

In celebration of Santhanam’s birthday, the film’s first-look poster was released by the team yesterday.
