World No. 1 Jannik Sinner will continue his title defence at the Australian Open when the Italian takes on 21st-seeded American Ben Shelton in the semifinals in Melbourne on Friday.
In the other men’s singles semifinal, 10-time champion Novak Djokovic will be up against second-seeded German Alexander Zverev.
