Australian Open 2025: Sabalenka reaches third straight final in Melbourne with straight-sets win over Badosa

World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka marched into her third straight Australian Open final with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Spain’s Paula Badosa in Melbourne on Thursday.

Sabalenka, the top-seeded Belarusian, is one win away from becoming the first woman since Martina Hingis (1997-1999) to clinch three consecutive titles at the first Major of the season.

The 26-year-old Sabalenka will face either second-seeded Pole Iga Swiatek or 19th-seeded American Madison Keys in the final on Saturday.
