Thalapathy 69 first look releasing for Republic Day 2025? Title buzz:
Thalapathy 69 (tentative title) starring Vijay in the lead is the actor’s last film. The movie directed by H. Vinoth is scheduled to release in October 2025. Thalapathy 69‘s announcement poster came with the line, “The torch bearer of democracy..arriving soon..”, hinting of political undertones in tune with Vijay’s new political career.
Now buzz has it that in order to reflect the same, Thalapathy 69 has been titled Naalaiya Theerpu, which translates to ‘the verdict of tomorrow’. Interestingly, actor Vijay debuted as a lead star with his father SA Chandrashekhar’s movie Naalaiya Theerpu (1992).
It remains to be seen if the actor has opted to use the title of his first film for his last movie as well. Buzz also has it that Thalapathy 69 first look will be unveiled marking Republic day this week. Official announcements on the same await.
It is worth mentioning here that Thalapathy 69 has long been buzzed to be an official remake of Telugu action drama Bhagavanth Kesari (2023), where Nandamuri Balakrisha played a Circle Inspector turned ex-prisoner, who fulfills his late friend’s ambition of sending his surviving daughter to the army.
