Ranji Trophy 2024-25: Rishabh Pant scores 17 runs in second innings, dismissed by Ravindra Jadeja
Rishabh Pant’s Ranji Trophy comeback for Delhi ended without any substantial contribution with the bat after he scored 17 runs in the second innings against Saurashtra on Friday.
Pant showed promise and spent 26 deliveries at the crease, which included a boundary against Ravindra Jadeja through square leg. However, he holed out to Sheldon Jackson off Jadeja soon after.
The 27-year-old walked in to bat at number six and joined Ayush Badoni for a 42-run stand. But his innings failed to pull Delhi, which trailed by 83 runs in the first innings, out of trouble.
The wicketkeeper-batter had managed just one run off 10 deliveries in the first innings.
