Padmabhushan Awards Celebrate Nandamuri Balakrishna Ajith Kumar Shobhana Triumph

The Indian government has released the list of prestigious Padma Awards for 2025, honoring 139 individuals from diverse fields. The awards include 7 Padma Vibhushan, 19 Padma Bhushan, and 113 Padma Shri recipients. Among these, 23 awardees are women, with 13 receiving the honor posthumously, and 10 awardees falling into the NRI, PIO, and OCI categories.

From the domain of Movies, Arts, and Entertainment, notable South Indian celebrities were recognized with the Padma Bhushan awards for their contributions. Nandamuri Balakrishna, Shobhana, and Ajith Kumar received this prestigious honor. Additionally, playback singer Arijit Singh was also bestowed with a Padma award for his exceptional talent in music.
