Mohanlal and Prithviraj Collaboration Shines in Lucifer 2 Empran Teaser

The teaser for the second part of the blockbuster Malayalam movie “Lucifer,” titled “Empuraan,” directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and starring Mohanlal, has been released. The first installment, “Lucifer,” released in 2019, was a massive hit and marked Prithviraj’s directorial debut. The film featured an ensemble cast, including Manju Warrier, Vivek Oberoi, Tovino Thomas, and Sai Kumar.

After the success of “Lucifer,” work began on “Empuraan.” The film is produced by Antony Perumbavoor in collaboration with Lyca Productions, with scriptwriting by Murali Gopy and directed by Prithviraj. Mohanlal reprises his role as the lead, and the movie is set for a pan-India release. The cast includes Arjun Das, Suraj, Karthikeya Deva, Caroline, along with actors who appeared in the first part. Filming took place across India, the USA, and the UK.

The teaser, approximately 2.23 minutes long, opens with visuals of Iraq’s Qaraqosh city, immediately capturing the audience’s attention. The narrative suggests the return of “Lucifer” with intense dialogues like, “If I am not there, only one person can help you – Stephen.” The teaser hints at a battle involving the titular character, with Prithviraj appearing as Syed Masood towards the end. The film is set to release on March 27.
