Ranji Trophy 2024-25: Siraj in Hyderabad squad to face Vidarbha in last group stage fixture

India pacer Mohammed Siraj will be playing the last round of the Ranji Trophy for Hyderabad, which will take on Vidarbha in an away-game from January 30

Siraj’s inclusion was confirmed by a senior official of the Hyderabad Cricket Association here on Monday.

The fast bowler, who was training at Gymkhana Ground when Hyderabad was playing Himachal Pradesh in the penultimate round here last week, had spent a few hours with the team members at the nets and was also seen discussing with some of the senior members of the team led by left-arm pacer C.V. Milind.

The 30-year-old Siraj, who completed 100 wickets in his 36th Test match in Australia recently, will be keen to prove a point or two after being ignored for the ongoing T20 and the ODI series against England and the Champions Trophy next month.
