Parasakthi: Songs, shooting update on Sivakarthikeyan’s film
Parasakthi starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead is a Sudha Kongara film that also has Ravi Mohan, Atharvaa, Sreeleela in it. A Dawn Pictures production, Parasakthi is scheduled to release in Tamil, Telugu languages, and Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies is distributing the film.
According to film’s producer Aakash Bhaskaran, Parasakthi will wrap shooting by June or July, 2025. Parasakthi has 5 songs composed by GV Prakash, and the team has already completed shooting 2 of these numbers. Yugabharathi, Ekadesi, Arivu, Kaber Vasuki, Jaishree have penned the Tamil lyrics in the Parasakthi album, while the Telugu lyrics are by Ramajogayya Sastry.
Parasakthi is based on the 1965 anti-Hindi agitation by revolutionary college students in real life Tamil Nadu, and is jointly written by Sudha Kongara, Arjun Nadesan. The movie’s technical crew also includes Ravi K Chandran for cinematography, Arvind Ashok Kumar, Bindiya Chhabriya for production design, Sathish Surya for edits, Supreme Sundar for stunts, Poornima for costume design, Brinda, Kruthi Mahesh for choreography, and Gopi Prasanna for publicity design.
