Ranji Trophy 2024-25: Sai Sudharsan returns to Tamil Nadu squad for quarterfinal against Vidarbha
Tamil Nadu Cricket Association on Monday announced its 16-member squad for its Ranji Trophy 2024-25 quarterfinal against Vidarbha, starting on February 8 in Nagpur.
Sai Sudharsan was included in the team after missing out in the sixth and seventh rounds of the group stage due to an injury. The southpaw has played just two innings this season in the First-Class tournament and scored 295 runs.
He struck his maiden double ton against Delhi at the Arun Jaitley Stadium earlier this season.
R. Sai Kishore continues as captain with N. Jagadeesan being named his deputy. Tamil Nadu lost its final group match to Jharkhand by 44 runs but advanced to the knockouts with 25 points.
