TEST: Madhavan, Nayanthara, Siddharth starrer gears up for direct OTT release! Teaser out
TEST starring Madhavan, Nayanthara, Siddharth, Meera Jasmine among others is a Tamil laguage sports drama that is co-written, directed, and produced by S. Sashikanth of Y NOT Studios. TEST marks S. Sashikanth’s directorial debut, and was filmed between April 2023 to January 2024.
After almost a year, it has now been announced that TEST will be a direct OTT release on the Netflix streaming platform. A newly unveiled TEST teaser can be viewed above.
Based on an original story authored by Suman Kumar, a writer who has penned for the famous Indian OTT series The Family Man (Amazon Prime Video), TEST has R. Madhavan play a character named Sara, Nayanthara his wife Kumudha, Siddharth a cricket test player named Arjun, and Meera Jasmine his wife.
Set around a historic international cricket test match in Chennai, TEST movie revolves around how three people’s worlds collide during the match, ultimately forcing them to make life-changing difficult decisions.
The technical crew of TEST includes Sakthishree Gopalan for music, Viraj Singh Gohil for cinematography, TS Suresh for edits, Dhruv P Panjuani for sports direction, Poornima Ramaswamy and Anu Vardhan for costume design, Kunal Rajan for sound design, Dinesh Subbarayan for action, and Gopi Prasanna for publicity design.
