Test Teaser: Miscellaneous Characters On The Cusp Of Breaking Point!
Actor Siddharth had his last outing in the romantic comedy drama Miss You which hit theaters under the direction of N Rajasekar with actress Ashika Ranganath as female lead. The movie was tagged with negative reviews and left theaters unnoticed. The Jil Jung Juk star will soon have his next release via the upcoming sports drama titled Test. Producer S Sashikanth will be making his debut as a director with Test. He has co written the script with writer Suman Kumar. Actress Nayanthara has depicted the female lead role in the flick. Actor R Madhavan has played a prominent part. Actress Meera Jasmine will be returning to Tamil cinema after a decade with her role in the film. The entertainer is set to premiere exclusively on Netflix OTT platform in languages Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. An official release date is expected to be announced soon.
The makers have now dropped the teaser of the flick on social media. Taking to their official X handle, Netflix India OTT platform dropped the teaser of Test and captioned it, “Sports. Drama. And a hat-trick of a cast. This pitch is all set for this test of life TEST, a sports drama starring Madhavan, Nayanthara, and Siddharth is coming soon, only on Netflix.” Here is the post made by the OTT platform.
One minute teaser of “Test” opens to an aerial shot of a bird flying above Chepauk Stadium to the voiceover of Siddharth, “Game . . . as in life, the beauty lies in its rules. Rule one, and probably the only rule, you have to enter the arena and play. You do not have a choice. The moment you understand this, your test begins.” In a shot we witness actress Nayanthara saying, “I need to pay the clinic by 4.30 pm. This is our last chance, Sara!” In another scene we see a heartbroken Siddharth say, “I cannot quit cricket now.” From the teaser, it appears the movie is about a bunch of individuals desperate for a breakthrough in life.
Cast of Test also has actor Kaali Venkat in a pivotal role. The technical side of the flick has singer Shakthisree Gopalan making her debut as a music director. Cinematographer Viraj Singh Gohil has operated cameras for the venture. Editor T S Suresh has been bestowed with the responsibility to edit the movie. Art director Arushakar Durai has erected sets for the project. Stuntman Dinesh Subbarayan has choreographed action moves. The film is produced by S Sashikanth and Chakravarthy Ramachandra under the production banner YNOT Studios.
On the professional front, actor Siddharth will next be seen on screens in Indian 3 helmed by Shankar in which he has collaborated with actor Kamal Hassan and Kajal Aggarwal. The Chithha actor is currently in the sets of story teller Sri Ganesh shooting alongside actors Meetha Raghunath, Chaitra Achar, Sarathkumar, and Devayani for the project tentatively titled Siddharth 40. On the other hand, actress Nayanthara is presently occupied with her next flick Rakkayie crafted by Senthil Nallasamy, an untitled project directed by Vishnu Edavan in which she will be romancing actor Kavin, a couple of Malayalam ventures Dear Students filmed by Sandeep Kumar and George Philip Roy in which she will be sharing screen space with actor Nivin Pauly, and MMMN scripted by Mahesh Narayanan in which she will be co starring with Fahadh Faasil, Mammootty, and Mohanlal.
