Dragon: Pradeep Ranganathan starrer becomes a 100 Cr blockbuster

Coming-of-age comedy drama Dragon (Tamil) / Return of the Dragon (Telugu) is a Pradeep Ranganathan starrer that has now grossed Rs. 100 Cr. in worldwide box-office collections. An AGS Entertainment production, Dragon written and directed by Ashwath Marimuthu released in theaters on February 21, 2025.

The movie made at a budget of Rs. 37 Cr, has grossed Rs. 100 Cr. within 10 days of its release. Dragon also stars Kayadu Lohar, Anupama Parameswaran, Mysskin, KS Ravikumar, Gautham Vasudev Menon, George Maryan, Indhumathy, among others, and has Leon James for music. 

Dragon/Return of the Dragon is the second 100 Cr blockbuster for Pradeep Ranganathan. The actor’s debut movie Love Today (2022), also produced by AGS Entertainment, was made on a meagre budget of Rs. 5 Cr. and went on to gross Rs. 100 Cr+.
