East Bengal vs Chennaiyin FC HIGHLIGHTS, EBFC 0-3 CFC, ISL 2024-25: Red and Gold Brigade beaten comprehensively at home

East Bengal meets Chennaiyin FC in a bottom-half Indian Super League (ISL) clash at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata on Saturday.

With the tournament entering the home stretch, both teams are locked on 18 points each but East Bengal is a step ahead in 10th position with a superior goal difference and also has a game in hand. Chennaiyin, on a seven-game winless run, will be eager to secure a victory and keep its slim playoff aspirations alive.

With only a handful of games left to turn around their fortunes, both sides will try to go full steam to try and stay in contention.

The last seven rounds have seen Chennaiyin drift away from the top half after suffering four defeats and managing to draw three. Its plight is also reflected in the fact that Chennaiyin has not been able to secure a win against a Kolkata-based side in the last five meetings.
